Drafting Installation Plans

Different housing estates have varying requirements for the installation of independent electricity meters and private chargers. We will draft installation plans and WR1 completion certificates tailored to the requirements of the estates, clearly detailing each component of the project. This helps us more effectively obtain approval from the Owners’ Corporation or Building Management Office (BMO) and accelerate the installation process.

Handling Meter Application

We provide installation services for power supply and independent meters that comply with local legal requirements. We can handle applications for independent meters with CLP Power/HK Electric and arrange for qualified electrical engineering personnel to manage the entire meter setup process.

Product Acceptance and Explanation

We conduct product acceptance with the car owner to ensure that the charger is functioning properly. We also explain how to use the charger and provide tips on daily maintenance.

Even if you missed the government’s “The EV-charging at Home Subsidy Scheme” there’s no need to worry. We provide free installation of charging infrastructure.

Upon approval from the housing estate, Marsbu will visit the parking lot to assess the situation, such as evaluating the electrical system supply, determining installation locations, and ensuring safety.

What is the Marsbu Home Electric Vehicle Charging Monthly Fee Plan?

What is the free investment in infrastructure?

Marsbu will fully fund the installation of the electric vehicle charging infrastructure, covering all surveys, engineering, installation, maintenance, and service.

How can I assess whether my residential/commercial parking lot is suitable for installing an EV charging station?

Do I need to apply for the installation plan myself to the property management?

Marsbu will coordinate with the relevant owners’ corporations and building management offices to handle the application process. Users do not need to apply for the installation plan themselves to the property management.

The application process for residential parking lots is too complicated. What are the solutions?

Marsbu will draft installation plans and WR1 completion certificates tailored to the estate’s requirements, detailing each project component to streamline the application process and accelerate the installation timeline.

The monthly service fee includes the installation and rental of the charger, a specified amount of electricity each month, and regular maintenance and repair services.
In addition to the monthly service fee, customers are also required to pay a deposit of HKD $10,000 and a one-time installation fee for the electric vehicle charging facilities starting from HKD $6,000.
If the monthly designated electricity usage is exceeded, the additional electricity charge will be HKD $40 per 10 kWh.
The monthly fee plan will be adjusted proportionally according to the annual adjustment of electricity charges.
The package includes the maintenance costs of the charging pile. However, the maintenance service does not cover any damage caused to the electric vehicle charging cables connected to the charger or damage due to misuse, negligence, abnormal power supply, etc. Unauthorized modifications or repairs are also not covered. Repairs and maintenance services beyond the scope of the warranty may require additional fees. The company reserves the right to refuse related repair and maintenance services until full payment is
received.
During the contract commitment period, customers can request to transfer the charging service to a new address. This is subject to the company’s feasibility assessment of the new address, and the customer must pay (i) a transfer fee; and (ii) an installation service
fee. Unless otherwise agreed, all contract terms will remain unchanged after the transfer.
After the contract commitment period, if (i) the customer does not submit an application to terminate the service; or (ii) the customer has not signed a new contract, Marsbu will continue to provide the charger rental service under the existing contract and terms
(excluding fees) and will charge the current non-commitment monthly fee until the service is terminated by the customer.
The basic installation fee only includes standard installation, and the actual installation cost may vary depending on the site conditions. When choosing a service plan, the feasibility of the site must be assessed, and it must be acknowledged that the assessment
results may determine that your location is unsuitable for installing the charging service.
The chargers provided by Marsbu are 7KW single-phase 230V. The actual charging situation may be affected by various factors such as the electric vehicle model, vehicle manufacturer settings, battery condition, and the available power supply in the parking lot.
After a successful application, we will arrange to install the relevant electric vehicle charging equipment within approximately 7 working days.
